Lysa TerKeurst is president and chief visionary officer of Proverbs 31 Ministries and the author of six New York Times bestsellers, including Good Boundaries and Goodbyes, Forgiving What You Can’t Forget, and It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way. Joel serves as the Director of Theology and Research for Proverbs 31 Ministries and Lysa TerKeurst, and is a part of the preaching team at Transformation Church with Pastor Derwin Gray. Joel earned a PhD in Theology under Drs. Patrick Schreiner (NT) and Michael Heiser (OT) with an emphasis on Paul’s household language in Ephesians as it relates to the Old Testament. He loves studying and teaching the brilliant truths found in Scripture and unpacking how they relate to our everyday lives.
Hope Darst is a worship leader and songwrtier for the church both locally and worldwide. She leads with passion and authority and desires to see the broken restored in the presence of God. In January 2020, Hope signed to Fair Trade Services as an artist and songwriter. In February 2020, Hope debuted her first radio single, Peace Be Still, which she co-wrote with Mia Fieldes & Andrew Holt, and released her first full length solo project by the same name in August of 2020. She followed up with the November 2022 EP release of “If The Lord Builds The House.” To date Hope has amassed over 100 million streams worldwide, has 5 songs performed in churches across the world every week based on CCLI, charted 3 consecutive radio singles in the Top 15 (including “Peace Be Still” reaching the Top 5), received 3 Gospel Music Association Dove Award nominations (including Worship Record Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year), and garnered a BMI songwriter award (for “Peace Be Still”) Hope has also been a part of The Belonging Co since it’s beginning in 2013, where she regularly serves on the worship team. She also appears as both a songwriter and featured artist on The Belonging Co. albums “Here” (2022), “See The Light” (2021), “Awe+Wonder” (2019) , “All The Earth” (2017). Hope lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, David, and their two daughters.
