MercyMe is an American contemporary Christian music band founded in Edmond, Oklahoma. The band consists of lead vocalist Bart Millard, percussionist Robby Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul. The band formed in 1994 and released six independent albums prior to signing with INO Records in 2001.[3] The group first gained mainstream recognition with the crossover single, “I Can Only Imagine” which elevated their debut album, Almost There, to triple platinum certification. Since then, the group has released eight additional studio albums (six of which have been certified gold) and a greatest hits album, 10. The group has also had 13 consecutive top 5 singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, with 7 of them reaching No. 1. MercyMe has won 8 Dove Awards and has had many Grammy Award nominations. On April 8, 2014, the band released its eighth studio album titled Welcome to the New. MercyMe’s ninth studio album, Lifer, was released on March 31, 2017. Currently working on new music, the band just released “Hurry Up and Wait” a few weeks ago, and can’t wait to be back on the road with the fans!

Since the release of their first album, Organic Family Hymnal, the group’s authentic and energetic style of worship has attracted an international audience, with career sales of more than 300,000 albums. The group saw early success as their first ever single “Build Your Kingdom Here,” peaked at No. 12 on the National Christian Audience Chart. Their 2014 release, The Art of Celebration, charted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart within the first week of its release. Known for their electric lively worship, the band has been a part of several major tours with top artists such as Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Kari Jobe, Lecrae and more. The group released critically acclaimed As Family We Go in 2015, followed by, Campfire Christmas Volume 1, their first Christmas record, and Campfire II, both in 2016. The critically acclaimed Good News released in 2017, followed by Good News: Deluxe Edition (2018), now available everywhere.

Singer/songwriter Andrew Ripp is an emotive performer with a soulful, contemporary pop sound. Initially, Ripp came to prominence as a songwriter, co-writing Ryan’s Cabrera’s 2005 hit “Shine On.” He then made his own mark, issuing several well-received independent albums including 2008’s Fifty Miles to Chicago and 2010’s She remains the Same.
