UK worship Matt Redman currently lives with his wife Beth and their five children in Orange County, California. Writer on songs such as ‘10,000 Reasons’, ‘Blessed Be Your Name’, ‘Heart of Worship’ and ‘Son of Suffering’, he is also the author of several books on worship. Matt dreamed up WOR/TH to help create an environment where songwriters, music-leaders and their teams can think deeply about our sung theology in worship.
Ben Fielding, married to Karalee, is a writer on some of the most impactful worship anthems from the last couple of decades. Songs such as ‘What A Beautiful Name’, ‘Goodness of God’, ‘Who You Say I Am’ and ‘Mighty to Save’ have made their way into the regular repertoire in so many streams of the Church. More recently Ben, alongside Reuben Morgan, has launched CXMMXNS, a new collaborative worship movement.
Darlene Zschech is an award-winning singer-songwriter, worship leader, pastor, author, and speaker. Her songs include ‘Victor’s Crown’, ‘Worthy Is The Lamb’ and the more recent ‘Testament’ – as well as the classic worship anthem ‘Shout to the Lord’. Recognised by the Gospel Music Association for her global influence in praise and worship, her songs have reached many nations around the world. Alongside her husband Mark, she is a Senior Pastor of Hope Unlimited Church (HopeUC) on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
CityAlight are a music ministry from St Paul’s church in Sydney. Their vision is to write songs with biblically rich lyrics and simple melodies for Christian churches to sing. These include ‘Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me’, ‘Only A Holy God’ and the brand new ‘My Labor Is Not In Vain’. Their songs have taken them all around the globe, including Singapore and the USA.
Rev. Dr. Michael F. Bird is an Anglican priest and biblical scholar. He is Deputy Principal and Lecturer in New Testament at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. He is an award-winning author of over 30 books including The New Testament in its World (with N.T. Wright), Evangelical Theology, Jesus among the gods, What Christians Ought To Believe, and Seven Things I Wish Christians Knew About the Bible. He is married with four children.
