Award-nominated Platinum singer, songwriter, and producer isn’t afraid to speak truth to power, tear down false
idols, or point out hypocrisy when it comes to religion, church, or “Country Club Christians”—as she does on the
likes of “Church Clothes” and “Koolaid.” Opening up about her doubts, questions, and struggles in conversation, at
shows, and on tape has made her faith stronger and given her music meaning. To paint a personal picture, she
chooses to sonically color outside of the lines. The songstress spikes soulful-style hooks with rock ‘n’ roll attitude,
bringing soul to Americana-style instrumentation, as she laces a sly sense of humor into the fabric of her
